~Cinta...Oh Cinta~

Semenjak tercetusnya fenomena best-seller ‘Ayat-Ayat Cinta’, orang ramai mula ‘membuka mata’ dan sudi melihat karya-karya Islami. Baguslah. Macam berlumba-lumba pulak. Senario ni tak wujud di Malaysia lagi. Memang la orang Malaysia dah mula membaca buku Melayu tapi bukan buku yang ada unsur-unsur Islam. Memang kita perlu banyakkan lagi penulis yang macam Habiburrahan al-Shirazy. Memang susah sebab pembaca Malaysia ni lain sikit. Tapi takpelah. Cuba sikit2. Sikit2 lama2 jadi bukitkan?

Baguslah. Mengeksploitasikan pengalaman sendiri untk menghasilkan sesuatu yang berguna. Mmmm..aku pun sepatutnya gunakan pengalaman aku di Iran untuk buat cite macam Zaid Akhtar kan? Takpe la. Aku akan cuba nanti walaupun aku tahu bukannya senang nak buat novel.

Semasa aku sedang membelek buku2 di sebuah kedai buku di Jakarta, aku tertarik dgn satu buku ni. Aku pun belilah. Judul buku ini ialah ‘Kitab Cinta Yusuf Zulaikha’ nukilan Taufiqurrahman al-Azizy. Haa…tengok la nama pengarangnya pun ala2 penulis AAC kan? Aku saja nak tengok macam mana dia sesuaikan cite Nabi Yusuf dan Zulaikha dengan zaman sekarang. Aku berjaya habiskan buku tu tapi ada la melompat2 skit. Hehehe. Bukannya apa..Kekadang tu ayat2nya jenis yang meleleh2 and tangkap lentok la. Hehehe. Kekadang tu meleret2.

Y ni buat tak tau je tapi bile dia sendiri dah nmpak Z, maka Kuch Kuch Hota Hai berkumandang dalam hatinya. Z ni pun sebenarnya ada timbul rasa suka tapi dia cepat2 cuba buang perasaan suka tu sbb dia rasa tak patut la dia nak ada hubungan dengan pemuda kampung lak. Lagipun dia tak lama kat kg tu.

Kekawan Z bernama Intan, Dewi n Rindu sangatlah rajin menziarahi rumah Y. Kononnya nak ziarah tapi eleh…tau la nak tgk muka hensem dia tu. Setiap kali dorang gi sana, Z diajak tapi tak pernah dia nak ikut sbb sdg melawan pperasaa sendiri. Yelah…Takut terjatuh cintan dalam2 plak kan. Buku ni penuh dengan nasihat. Bagus la. Tapi kekadang tu panjang jela sangat.

Y terasa hari sikit la sbb sume ahli rombongan dah penah gi ke rumahnya kcuali Z. Jadi satu hari dia kata mcm ni. Aku petik ayat dari novel tu:

“Kenapa tak sekali pun Zulaikha datang ke rumahku? Apakah rumahku terlalu buruk baginya? Oh,maafkan aku jka aku tertanya2 begitu. Maafkan aku..”

Habis dia ‘fire’ Y. Y sampai menangis teresak2 sbb rasa takut dah melukakan hati seseorang. Merayu2 Y tapi gagal nak pujuk Z.

Rombongan pelajar U tu dah kena balik ke kota. Y bimbang sbb Z masih berdendam dgnnya.

Kat kota, Z dah berkali2 khatam surat tu. Dah mula angau. Jadi dia tulis la surat kepada Y. Surat luahan hati yg rindukan Y. Cewah.. Cnth ayat2 cinta si Z ni:

“Aku tidak bisa, Yusuf. Aku tidak bisa menghapuskanmu. Aku mencintaimu, Yusuf….”

Hohoho. amacam? Karat tak? 3 kali Z tulis surat kpd Y tp tk pernah dibalasnya. Y mmg la suka sbb dia pun ada perasaan pd Z. Tetapi sbg lelaki yg beriman, dia rasa takut. Takut nk jalinkan hubungan macam tu. Akhirnya dia tanya pendapat ayah. Ayah dia suruh balas sbg menghormati perasaan gadis yg bersusah payah meluahkan isi hati. Y pun ambil keputusan membalas surat tu. Heboh satu kampung kecik tu ttg hubungan baru Y dan Z. Ada plak pompuan jeles bernama Atikah yg tk senang duduk. Dah lama dia sukakan Y tapi dipendam. Budak baik tp sebab rasa cinta melampau yg merosakkannya. Masa Y nak g hnatar surat ke pejabat pos, dia terserempak dgn Atikah (A) tu. A dpt tau dia nak gi pej pos sbb nak hntr surat kpd Z. Haaa..apalagi? Menangis tk berlagu la. Mak A berazam nak satukan Y dan A. Mcm2 dia buat.

Z pulak demam rindu sampai sakit teruk. Sakit sampai kena panggil orang berubat. Tetiba tgh2 sakit tu, surat sampai.

Y pun terima dan pakcik tu semakin sygkan Y. Dia sgt berharap anak perempuannya dpt berkasih dgn org seperti Y. Dia rindukan anaknya yg tak balik2 smpi sakit. Y la yg menjaganya. Ye betul. Pakcik tu ayah Z. Y tak tau sampai la satu hari kawan Z, Rindu melawat pakcik tu. terkejut Y bile tahu keadaan sebenar dan dia amik keputusan nak balik kg, bawa balik Z.

Al-kisahnya Z tu dah 4 bulan duduk kat kg, tunggu Y balik. Mmg dia sedih tapi dia sabar menunggu. Atikah dan emaknya yg jahat tu buat rancangan lain. Diorang saja buat baik dgn Z, ajak Z duduk rumah dia. Pastu cucuk2 jarum supaya Z ni baik dgn Umar, kwn baik Y. Akhirnya timbul la cite yg Z dgn Umar plak. Org asyik cakap mcam2 sampai timbul fitnah lain sampai mereka amik keputusan nak kawin utk tutup mulut org.

Memang hancur luluh hati Y tapi tak le nak buat apa. Sbb tu dia berpura2 bercinta dgn Z.

Maka bersatulah Y n Z…..Huhuhu..panjang gile aku bercerita kali ni. Saja je nak bgtau cite novel yg aku baca. Dari segi jln citenya mmg la tk nampak islamiknya. Tapi dari segi penyampaian, mmg jelas sgt la. Penuh dgn nasihat dan kata2 hikmat. Ramai2 lah kita menyokong karya2 islami ye.

Heheheh. Ok Assalamualaikum.

Last night, thinking of you, one tear rolled out. I asked why are you out? Tear said there is someone so beautiful in your eyes, now there is no place for me.

Alahai….romantiknya. Aku sendiri cair baca benda yg aku taip sendiri. Hehehe. Ok la. Chow dulu. Anyong!

! Adult Acne !

                                                                      Acne-free face
When I was browsing through CLEO August edition, I found something interesting, Acne! Yeah, maybe it is an out of date thing for others especially people of my age. The problem is I was acne-free during school life. But after growing up, especially in university life, acne really attacked me. Hohohoho. With Iran’s polluted weather, my skin condition became worse. But now in Malaysia it became better. Alhamdulillah.

This article from CLEO speaks about adult acne. It’s written there: adult acne is more common than you think and needs a different pimple-busting strategy from your school-girl days. Upgrade your regime with these pimple-busting steps that do the job without drying up your post-adolescent skin.

Step 1: Choose a cleanser. The cleanser should have creamier texture for acne-prone skin. If the skin is oily, gel cleanser is the best.
Examples given by CLEO:
1) Garnier Pure Pore Unblock Foam ~ RM9.90
2) Laniege Pure Face Cleansing Milk ~ RM80
3) Thalgo Micro-marine Algae Cleansing Bar~ RM79
4) Anna Sui Oil Control Gel Cleanser ~ RM88
5) L'Oreal Paris Pure Zone Purifying Gel ~ RM16.90
I'm using L'Oreal Perfect White Cleanser. The price is affordable. If I'm not mistaken, around RM 20-RM27.

Step 2: Slough away. We have dead skin cells that can plug up our pores. So we can try scrub or a toner with fruit enzymes rather than alcohol for a gentle option. Avoid too-grainy scrub.
Examples given by CLEO:
1) Vichy Norma-derm Purifying Astragent Toner ~ RM64.90
2) Eucerin Mild Daily Scrub ~ Rm38.90
3) Natio Young Freshen Oil Control Toning Lotin ~ Rm26
4) Biotherm Biopur S.O.S Normalizer Exfoliating Lotion ~ RM98
5) Shiseido Pureness Pore Purifying Warming Scrub ~ RM79
6) Clearasil Ultra Spot Scrub ~ RM14.90
The one I'm using is L'Oreal Perfect White Scrub and Toner. Well,  I use most from L'Oreal. Hehehe. I don't know why but I really like that brand. I think it suits  me well.

Step 3: De-stress your face. Keep our skin well- moisturized. Moisturizers soothe irritation, soften dryness and smoothen.
Examples given by CLEO:
1) Clinique Anti-blemish Solutions Clearing Moisturizer ~ RM95
2) Biotherm S.O.S Normalizer Normalizing Moisturizing Care ~ RM 135
3) Ettusas Acne Whitening UV SPF24 PA++ ~ RM81
4) Oxy UV Tinted Protector SPF50 PA++ ~ RM27.90
5) L'Oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Pure Zone Deep Control Anti-Imperfection Moisturizer ~ RM32.90
6) The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion ~ Rm55
Still the same . Using L'Oreal.

Step 4: Stay in control. After cleaning our face, apply on pimple-gel packed full of intensive anti-bacterial and skin-clearing ingredients 2 to 3 times a day. Be careful while choosing the product. Don’t pick the harsh one, or else your face will be very dry since some of them contain very strong ingredients.
Examples given by CLEO:
1) Origins Spots Remover Anti-Blemish Treatment Gel ~ Rm50
2) Milab Acne Pen ~ RM29.90
3) Babor Perfect Combination Purifier Gel ~ RM130
4) Garnier Pure Sos Blmish Clear Pen ~ RM12.90
5) Clearasil Ultra Spot Clearing Cream ~ RM14.90
This one I have tried several. Once Clean and Clear and once Oxy. But now I am applying some acne-blemish treatment brought by my brother from Egypt.

Step 5: Pamper ourselves. Refine pores during weekends with a clay mask. You can do it while watching television. If there are only pimples in certain parts, we can use the mask only on those areas.
Examples given by CLEO:
1) Clarins Pure and Radiant Mask ~ RM118
2) Garnier Pure-Self Heating Sauna Mask ~ RM5.90
3) Biotherm Biopur S.O.S Normalizing Balancing Mask ~ RM100
I bought Skinz Care Mask for the first time. Just wanted to try. And it turned out to be suitable for me!

These steps really work. I have tried them but if you neglect them, then the acne will come out again. So try to be consistent. (I am giving an advice especially for myself).
Ok. Until here only. See u next time. Anyong!!!

08.08.08 -special date-

I don’t know why but I just could not write a new post often. Maybe there is no special event to talk about. But actually writing anything can sharpen our composition skill. And this time I felt that I should try to write something different. It has been a long time since I wrote something in English. So thousand apologies if there are a lot of mistakes. Well…what should we talk about?
Yeah…did you guys realize the special date-08.08.08? It was so special especially for Chinese people. I was also eager to wait that date since the Olympic games would start that day. But…I totally forgot about it when the actual day came. All I could remember that day was..my student’s birthday and I should give him a present. And it turned out that he was absent that day! And on the same day, my father asked me to follow him to a ceremony held by the malay literature students in UPSI. So I followed him that night. The students presented poem, dance, songs, etc. Not that enjoyable but it was okay. University days are supposed to be full of activities. And that was what they were doing. Some female students called me kakak and somehow I felt uncomfortable. Hehehe. Well…some of them look older than me! (Ok. I know that I should face the fact that I am no longer the same age like them-in other words…I’m older! Ha…snap!)

Returning home late after that ceremony, I switched on the tv. Just wanted to watch something before going to bed. And that time, only I realized that….OMG! It’s Olympic Games today! I turned on TV1. Of course I was late. That time only several contingents left. I could not watch Malaysia’s contingent but ok, it was better than watching all the 200 something contingents one by one! So waiting for the remaining contingents to come out, I jumped from a channel to another. Hehehe. Tv3 was showing the film –fast and furious- and 8tv was showing Teen Choice Awards.

The last contingent to come out was China. They sent a lot of athletes this year, about 600 something, well…even they are the biggest contingent. Hoooo…what a noise! The stadium was full of cheers when China’s athletes came out. Even though I am not Chinese, I myself felt thrilled with that kind of support. With all the problems they are facing, China still managed to bring out the fullest for Olympics. As an Asian, of course I am proud!

What an opening ceremony! I was totally impressed with the lighting Oylimpic’s torch event. Previous athletes of China ran around the stadium towards the stage by passing the torch to one another. Finally the torch was given to Li Ning, a legendary gymnast of China, who was standing on the stage. Suddenly he flew up! Hooo…just like a superman! I couldn’t guess at all about the gimmick. It was unpredictable. He was carried up reaaaaaaally high! Thanks God he was a professional gymnast. Height is not a fear for him. If I were to be carried like that, I would have fainted even before reaching half of the height. He was brought up until the open roof. A light was focused on him. A shadow of him appeared on the highest wall. Then, he bent himself a little and he moved his legs as if he was running. It was superb! From the shadow, we could see that someone was running with a torch in his hand. And the images of the torch’s journey throughout countries in the world were shown behind him. What a unique and symbolic performance! My mouth remained a big ‘o’ when I saw that. The bird nest stadium is enormous and he made a ‘long run’ without the slightest fear.

He reached the end and stood confidently in the air. A big replica of the torch can be seen at the ‘finishing line’. There was something like a long stick and Li Ning lit it up with the fire from the torch he was holding. The fire spread up and suddenly there was blazing fire in the torch replica. Wow! Wow! Wow!

This 29th Olympic Games costs about AS$40 billion dollars. The opening ceremony was so so superb and I think that it could be a proof to the world that Asia should be looked high from now onwards. No more ‘worshipping’ only the Westerns. So for the Malaysian athletes, try your best! Malaysia boleh! We didn’t get any medal during Athens Olympics in 2004. However this time we have some targets and high hopes.

1) Gold for Lee Chong Wei (Badminton)
2) Gold for Koo Kien Kiat & Tan Boon Heong (Badminton)
3) Silver for Azizul Hasni (Cycling)
4) Bronze for Chu Sian, Marbawi and Khalmizam (recurve team)

Good luck guys! Yakin Boleh! Do the best to the best among the best!
Bye for now. Oh yeah..one more..congratulations for all the newly married couples of 08.08.08. Berlambak gile wei kawin hari tu! Kawin jemaah la katakan. Hehehe. And congrats for the newborns too.
See u in the next post!
